Mainly a backup catcher and known as a great defensive catcher throughout his career, he was a big part of the 1983 White Sox team that won the Western Division title. ” -carthage44

“ I never heard of SSPC until right now, seeing this card come up as card of the day...at 3:08 AM, May 12th. I thought I had heard of all the card companies by now, after collecting cards since 1988, but I guess not! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I have a bunch of these cards. A little on the boring side but neat braise not a lot of people have them. ” -addysdaddy

“ No stats, but nicely-sized photo on front. Lacks so many crucial elements for a good card. Also, anyone here know the story of Marc Hill's beard catching fire in the (I do believe) White Sox dugout (circa 1982)? Apparently, he was a smoker, and someone was trying to help him light one up, and caught his bushy beard on fire! In the dugout! Doubt there are many smokers in MLB (or MiLB) these days. ” -vrooomed

“ Is it just me or is this '70s Giants road uni strikingly similar to their 2000-12 set? ” -jlaz10
