Like so many others, please try to consider putting a picture of him on your next "Card of The Day" update. And without Yogi, the Yankees and baseball won't be the same. The card back makes me wonder if Donruss/Leaf actually owned Classic. ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*

Classic was a small-time company based in Cherry Hill, NJ - where I grew up. I think they thought that if Star Co (also originally based out of Cherry Hill) could make it, so could they. My son (when he was about 7 or 8) found one of the Classic sets I had and sheeted it - the pages are worth more than the set (and it was a 100-card set - 12 pages!). I know for a fact that many of the Classic cards "back doored". I find them useful in packaging where you need something VERY thin. :)

Looks like they took the border design from a pair of David Lee Roth's 80's pants.

Residence in New England has no bearing on my favorite teams, players, or how I pronounce "card."

Forgave my dad for putting his '52 Mantle in his bike spokes, but not my brother for plastering his room with my Star Wars stickers.
