Random Card of the Day

Year: 2000

Set: Quantum Leaf (Rate)

Card: #276 Trent Dilfer

“ Love the name of the set. I used to watch Quantum Leap with my mom back in the day. Think she has it on DVD even! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ This card hurts my eyes. Just saw the NCAA beach volleyball championships on TV. Dilfer's daughter was on one of the teams. ” -Splinter_9

“ It's like Quantum is trying to tell us to say away from Trent Dilfer, as he is about to explode or has explosive diarrhea. ” -kota5

“ I have a thing for football helmets and I love the back of the card! ” -carthage44

“ Watch out Trent! ” -kirkscards

“ I am mixed on this card. The basic look of the front is OK except for that wild light effect behind Trent. Team name or logo would be nice. Back looks like a waste just to show his NFL debut? Don't know what the back is actually trying to say. ” -captkirk42

“ Quite the stats to be excited about on a card. 5/10, 73, 0. Typical Trent. Although he does have a ring. ” -parsley24

“ Even with a Super Bowl victory, Trent Dilfer never looked as glorious as he does on this card. I like the front. The back, not so much. ” -muskie027

The front of the card kind of reminds me of the original Star Wars movie for some strange reason.... while the back is kind of appealing to one's eyes.

Quantum Leap is also the first thing I think about when I see the Word "Quantum" matched with another word especially things like "Quantum Leaf". Pretty sure Donruss/Leaf was riding The Quantum Leap train for that one.

I picked up a couple of cards (one base and one parallel) from this set recently.  This is one of my favorite designs, possible of all time.

There would also be a very Rare Tom Brady RC. Should you find one be careful? This Brady is one of his most counterfeited due to it can be copied with an HD Color Printer. If you can get your hands on a PSA 8-9 it will set you back around $1100.00 PSA 10 $4500.00 ungraded at a good show will still bring in $150.00 -$200.00 and it's a hard piece to get graded due to the foil edges always being chipped. Hints of the PSA 10 having such a high price.   Happy hunting on this one because of only 4 rookies per box.

I trade via Beckett only exceptions period.  So if you wish to use eBay prices then please move on.

I love the Bucs uniforms. The pewter uniforms will always be better than the creamsicle ones.

Very underrated QB. Didn't compile stats that look pretty on paper, but like Bob Griese and Jim Plunkett he was a great leader and a winner.
