“ Wasn't that a mid-80's Fleer mini set design? Like 1986 or something? ” -Splinter_9
“ 01-02 Fleer Platinum payed tribute to the 1961-62 Fleer set, but the rookies payed tribute to the 1986-87 set...which Fleer threw back to at least a half dozen times over the years. Richardson was a good player but suffered from a lot of injuries, which eventually ended his career...I've pulled more patch cards of him than any other players, interesting to me. ” -Billy Kingsley
“ Looks kinda similar to a 80's Fleer All-Star set for baseball. It would have been nice if they said draft pick somewhere on the front so it doesn't seem so strange that he is in a suit. The only way I realized that it was a draft pick card is by the Michigan State stats on the back. ” -davidhandberry
“ Was in the league forever. ” -carthage44
“ classic design. good looking card. ” -parsley24
“ Copying an iconic set design works for me. ” -UKboogie
“ Always cheaper to recycle the designs. ” -NJDevils
“ Reminds me of the design from the Jordan rookie card. I like it. ” -muskie027
“ I like that this is a tribute to the 1986-87 Basketball that marked the return of basketball to the trading card world (and gave us a ton of "RC"s of Hoops greats). What I do not like is this type of Rookie Draft Night photo card. This makes a basketball star look like a golfer at an award show or a trucker at the prom. ” -captkirk42
“ I liked the original Fleer Basketball 86-87 design. It doesn't work for me when the athlete is out of uniform. ” -Lerxst2112
