Year: 2003
Set: Ultra (Rate)
Card: #176 Orlando Hernandez
“ Although Ultra was my favorite brand, this design is not my favorite. The design from the following season is much better. But this one is much more colorful. These also have a bit of a tendency to stick together. ” -Billy Kingsley
“ Not a bad card, although a bit noisy on the back. I was sitting here for about 45-60 seconds thinking if he was really a 2nd baseman or not. The stats were pitching, and I thought it might be an error card, but not labelled. And then I saw the "P" next to his name that also confirmed my memory he was a pitcher. So why the huge "2b" right above that?! Ohhhhh.....I'll bet that's supposed to be a "26". Must be a uniform number. Horrible font choice, Fleer. ” -kents_stuff
“ This is a great photo, but the graphics are horrible. ” -parsley24
“ Peak-A-Boo I see you... ” -IfbBirdsCards
“ Best elbow shot in the history of card collecting ” -NJDevils
“ Sweet, it is a card of #26! Now who is that? Oh, there is, it is Orlando Hernandez! Cool design concept, poorly executed, although, the card still has an overall good look. El Duque was pretty sweet for awhile. The back is pretty awful. ” -muskie027
“ Not a fan of this card. I know when I look for interesting cards on the top of my list is photography really showing elbows, a partial face, a barely readable "2" and wording which seems happ-hazard on the front is rough to take in. My thoughts anyway. ” -ntlwhlr
“ nice card design, both ultra baseball and football had nice designs this year ” -Thunderfoot
