“ I don't know why this card looks so dark. In hand it looks much better. So i will base it on that and give it a good grade. Probably a 9. One of the weirder stories in baseball history. A sure fire pitching prospect who suddenly couldn't throw strikes and came back several years later as a backup outfielder who did pretty well, most notably by hitting a playoff homer for the Braves. I believe i heard recently that he was attempting another comeback as a pitcher. ” -davidhandberry
“ Oh boy, a Rick Ankiel card. Since he was a National for sometime and I liked him I really should add this card to my wantlist. Since it has a foil background I can see very little of it in this scan. This is why I don't like foil backgrounds much or the use of foil at all. ” -captkirk42
