Year: 1993

Set: Topps Micro (Rate)

Card: #248 Scott Scudder

“ Micro is apt. I like them just because they are so unique. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The design is boring like I feel about most Topps releases. They tend towards simple, boring designs. Now onto the scourge that is tiny cards. If card collectors wanted things this tiny we would be stamp collectors not card collectors. We have an industry standard size, can we keep it that size so everything can be stored easily? ” -davidhandberry

“ Not a bad design. Though the printing on the larger size cards was blurry at times. I cannot imagine what it looked on the micro cards. ” -kirkscards

“ Awwwww, how cute! It's a baby baseball card! ” -suomibear8

“ These Micro sets win! What do they win? Hardest set to sort. Really don't know what the draw was to these. I guess they're good for little kids and their tiny fingers. ” -vrooomed

“ ACK! A Micro card. These were OK for a Cracker Jack prize but for a regular 770 card set (or however many cards were in the full set) it is microscope overkill. ” -captkirk42

“ Micro cards are ehh. ” -Kirbythedodger

“ I've never really understood the need for micro cards, unless it's pretending that it's a normal size card in my hand and my muscles are huge. ” -vanstryland

“ 1993 topps has always been one of my favorite sets(football anyway), never seen the micro before ” -Thunderfoot

“ No me gusta micro sets. ” -muskie027

Those Indians uniforms always remind me of Willie Mays Hayes, Rick Vaughn, Pedro Cerrano, and the rest of the crew.

I have enough trouble reading the backs of "regular" size cards.  Well, at least an Indian made it to COTD.

These are the most obnoxious cards to sort!  Though, on the plus side, the sets often contained extra cards. I guess even their sorting machines couldn't accurately cound these cards, and instead they just stuffed the box.
