Year: 2006-07

Set: E-X (Rate)

Card: #15 Jermaine O'Neal

“ Although it may not be obvious, this is a mostly clear plastic card. His last name is printed in holofoil, as is the cardstock behind him that looks pinkish. The part with the EX logo and the gray smoky stripes are all clear plastic. I really like this set but only have one or two cards I've purchased as singles. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I think the last name is big enough. ” -vanstryland

“ I think we have had this set in the random card of the day before. It was many moons ago maybe a few years but Oh Well. I don't like the sideways design it looks bad and takes up too much space. ” -captkirk42

“ Odd looking card. Very 2006. ” -crushnmove

“ Too much wasted space on this one. ” -muskie027

I really like this set but not the pinkish hue my scanner gave them. I bought a box of these in December 2017 (for only $60 CAD tax-in, IIRC) and pulled my only "Jambalaya" insert from it. Looking at this set's checklist 13 years later, the 2006-07 rookie cohort probably stands out as one of the weakest ever. The two rookies in my box were Shannon Brown and Allan Ray (not to be confused with Ray Allen).
