I remember in 2010 when Mike he played for my favorite local baseball team the Cedar Rapids Kernels. He was a natural talent. Also on that team was Tyler Skaggs and Nick Adenhart. Mike took it pretty hard when each of them passed. I think it made him appreciate his life on this planet and love for the game.
