Bert Rechichar was drafted in the first round out of Tennessee and played defensive back, linebacker, halfback, returned kicks and punts. Oh, and he also kicked and punted, and actually held the NFL record for longest field goal, a 56-yarder in 1953, a record that would stand for 17 years until New Orleans Saint Tom Dempsey kicked a 63-yarder. |
