Great set that could have been one of the greatest had it not been overproduced. Great player and card! ------------------------------- Lee

Love the look of the cards in this set. This set is probably what got me hooked on cards.

I got a question as I don't collect football cards: Was the first NFL Pro Set just as erroneous as the first set that came out for the NHL (1990-91)? In the NHL set, I'm seeing a bunch of "ERR" cards, including misspelled names, wrong DOBs, wrong pictures, typos, etc..

The second and third years of Pro Set football were worse than the first year as far as errors are concerned.

Pro Set Football

1989 - Eight errors | 1990 - 31 errors | 1991 - 25 errors

Pro Set Hockey

1990-91 - 36 errors

I Loved Proset. Classic ending to the waxbox era, with the future FULL OF HOLOGRAMS, PATCHES, RELICS, AUTOGRAPHS, ETC. DID SOMEONE SAY BEER?
