Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

The Echte means Genuine in German.  Wagner was a German based company that produced a line of Margarine.  Like Liebig and other European products they offered collectible incentives if you bought their products.  In the 50's Wagner also had incentives like marbles and figurines that are also collectible.  If I remember right all 6 cards in each Series were distributed in one pack.  And like almost all the trade cards of the time where meant to be put in a collectible album that you could purchase for an additional fee.  The company merged with another margarine company in 1976 and that company went bankrupt in 1978.
