Knicely’s claim to fame is being co-star of The Quest for a ’52 Mantle, playing the role of one red paperclip. You know about his .213 lifetime batting average and the stellar streak of three consecutive two-homerun seasons, but did you know he was MVP of the American Association Triple A minor league in 1984?
