I've been trading cards for years on other web sites and never really got to know "TTCD" as I was always intimidated by having to relist all my wants and needs here. I got to know a couple of traders here over the last couple months (don't remember their handles) and thought I'd give it a shot here at TCD.
My name is Mike, I collect Mets and need very few to complete my run of Mets base cards 1962 until now...and the ones I need are pretty hard to get.
I recently purchased the innards of a baseball card hobby shop and am listing the cards/boxes/sets on eBay to try and recoup my investment and try to trade cards for the Mets I need and for the Mets I do not have (yes, there is a difference to me).
The cards I recently purchased are not on any list as I am still sorting through them. Chances are they will NEVER get listed as I just do not have the time.
My wantlist is here:

The tabs at the top of the page will take you to my "Priority Mets Want List", my "cards for trade" in various years among other tabs that may or may not help the trading experience. Feel free to browse and read my story.
What do I have to trade? Well I am glad you asked. Besides the cards listed on my web page, I have the collection I recently purchased. In that collection are Baseball, football, basketball and hockey cards. I have 4, 3000 count boxes of baseball game-used and autos. 2 3000 count boxes of the same of each football, basketball and hockey GU and Autos. I have vintage baseball going back to 1952 Topps, mostly commons. Many star cards from 1971 thru 1980. I threw out most of the 1980-1990's garbage. The FB, BKBL and Hockey are mostly from the 1970's, some late '60's FB. Tons of Rookie Cards from last 10-20 years. Many Judges, Machado's, Harpers, Bonds, Ripken, Chipper, Big Unit and all the others during this time period. You can always check my eBay store at my handle of Moretti1. I am always willing to end eBay auctions if you have something I can really use and you are interested in something I have for sale. Right now I only have 50-60 items up but plan on getting more up as I have time.
I do not collect FB, BKBL or Hockey (except for NY Rangers) cards and I know hardly anything about the most recent versions of these. I used to have complete sets of all 4 sports starting in 1986 and going back to 1960, but that's another story.
I do not mind looking at want lists as long as I know you have something I can use. My want lists are very specific and should be easy to read. My Master Mets want list has an explination of my wants at the top of the list. Once you read it, my lists should be easy to understand.
I do not mind selling large lots of cards. I really can't be bothered selling $1 and $2 cards 1 or 2 at a time.
Don't ask me for an Acuna RC unless you are giving me a Met card from my priority want list in return of similar value, either book value or sentimental value (yes, I can be a sucker for a Met card I have been looking for for years). Just the way I am as I get offers for my nicer RC's for common Mets stuff and then the other trader doesn't understand why.
So I hope to start trading here at TCD and hope to be able to help you all out with your sets.
Let's Go Mets!!! Mike
