Set Builders List

Hello,

I'm new to the forums and recently started to get back into finishing some sets. I have included all my needs. I also collect Pavel Bure, Pierre Turgeon, Franco Harris, and Gary Gaetti. I really don't want to buy, I would rather trade. I really dont have alot of trade stuff but lets see what we can do.

You need to start adding your collection and want list that way everybody knows what you have and don't have

To expand on the above point, Shawn is correct. The easiest way to trade and collect on here is to enter your collection. You can enter cards you own as part of your collection or your for sale/trade list. You can also add cards you want to your wantlist. It is time consuming, tedious, and if you're like me you can get sidetracked, but it is definitely beneficial. 

Once you have everything uploaded and updated (or while you're doing it, if you'd like) the system will automatically match cards on your for sale/trade list to other members' wantlists, and vice versa. This makes things much easier. Additionally, once you enter a transaction, the system will automatically switch cards traded into your collection as well.

Many members prefer to trade this way, so they won't be inclined to look at this list. However, I have a few 95-96 UDCC Player's Club that I'd be willing to part with. I will send you a PM shortly. Other than that, I would recommend using this site's features for updating your collection. You could always add your traders and wants, and then work on uploading your keepers as you complete transactions, but it's all up to you!

Jason is absolutely right in "Many members prefer to trade this way, so they won't be inclined to look at this list." I may have a few of these cards but I am not going to look one by one especially when I have no idea if you have anything I want in return.

Yes it takes time to enter a want list and a for sale / trade list. Most of us have taken the time to do so because of the benefits. I strongly urge you to do the same.

I looked at the list but I don't have any of the cards you seek...I'm still new to hockey so it's not impossible that I will get them later. Commenting now to have the post show up on the "View forum posts" link on my profile.

Everybody thanks for the help. I dont have a list of the cards i need except the sets im trying to complete. I dont have a list of the cards i have to trade because they are 90% commons of misc sets.

You would be surprised by what others need. 90% commons there are still people out there looking for set fillers, team collectors etc...  Heck I completed a trade recently full of nothing but 2009 Upper Deck Baseball Base and a 1993 Donruss Base Card (baseball). Enter in what you want to trade for and what you have to trade. Best way to do it!
