“ This is about the time when offensive lineman cards became extinct. Very sad. ” -carthage44

“ Well, it's certainly not all gunked up with bells and whistles, but it's not particularly memorable, either. I suppose if I was a kid and collected these I would probably still think they're kind of neat. ” -revnorb

“ The Saints tried to overcome their hard-to-see gold numbers with a thick black outline, but predominantly black numbers work better. ” -jlaz10

“ Foil name on a foil background. Can't even see it at all. Brilliant design. The photography is nice though. ” -switzr1

They had a good run, didn't they?  Seemed to dominate for at least the early half of the 2000's and they weren't half bad to look at either!  Now our biggest name is Panini, and I'm finding that no matter what Bought out name they put on the front of the card, the cards themselves show no individuality.  They're plain boring!  Thank you, Upper Deck, for sticking it out and keeping a bit of variety.

(Oh yes, O-Pee-Chee?  NEW card designs... NEW!!!  It's all well and good to have nostalgia but the way you're going it's like your creative department left for the millennium.  NEW...)

Thoguht this was a very good set, I also like the offensive line cards... make for some good action shots. Nothing like the 90's for card collecting.
