Year: 2003

Set: Fleer Patchworks (Rate)

Card: #69 Jeff Kent

“ Kent is one of the best steroid using players of all-time. ” -carthage44

“ I like the manufactured patch inserts from this set, but these based cards are pretty boring. Kent deserves some HOF consideration in my opinion. ” -dilemma19

“ This Patchworks design is much better than the design used for the NBA. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Not familiar with this set. "Patchworks" must have been a set with an emphasis of Game Used relics/ artifacts/ memorabilia. In general its an OK base card. ” -captkirk42

“ Not bad. Colors are a bit on the dull side. Why are they called "Patchworks"?? Were the cards pieced together by a bunch of old ladies at a quilting bee? A lot of "patch" insert sets, but I don't think you should name an entire set based on the inserts. ” -C2Cigars

“ Why is this called Patchworks? I don't see any patches. ” -wax_house

“ he sure could hit, but has reputation of not being a good teammate- hof maybe? ” -mzentko

“ Jeff was a five time All-Star, yet was not elected during 2002. (Arguably his best season) Some things are just strange like that. Not too bad of a card; could be better, but I've seen FAR worse. ” -DarkSide830

“ Big fan of Jeff Kent, not much of an Astros fan.Card is alright could do with a little less border and more picture ” -herbinator

“ I think he was on the last season of Survivor that I watched. This card looks like it is a month of a calendar if we dropped his name and replaced it with weekdays at the bottom. ” -UKboogie

If you throw out the years he had under 500 ABs, he averaged 29 HRs/yr

He was a good hitting 2B with pop, not real power. He had a SLG of .500, which is pretty good.
