Set: Topps Allen & Ginter - Mini Black Border (Rate)

Card: #183 Ryan Ludwick

“ Love the tobacco-sized minis. Always liked Ludwick in STL too. ABSOLUTELY HATE the written-out numbers for the stats in A&G. So good front, bad back. ” -switzr1

“ I like the mini cards, except when I am moving through a handful of cards and they drop out. Luckily, none of mine have gotten damaged that way, but it's more luck than skill. As they say, I'd rather be lucky than good! ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I really like these Allen and Ginter's. Along side Gypsy Queen and maybe Turkey Red, it is my favorite right now. ” -RoyalChief

“ I used to love all the A&G minis, but now I will only pursue my homie teams and PC players if at all. I still want to get all the full regular sized sets. Black mini this year it looks very cool, some years not so cool. ” -captkirk42

“ Not a fan of A&G. ” -NJdevils

“ Is it just me or are the mini cards very annoying? ” -carthage44

“ These mini black cards look valuable. But they're not. ” -dilemma19

No, not a fan of the minis, although I'm intrigued by A&G. Not sure how it's much different than Gypsy Queen, though.

Maybe we can come full circle, as it were, and companies can keep miniturizing and start to distribute their cards inside packs of gum!

A&G is some nice stuff, and has caused me to buy some cards I normally wouldn't.

The mini idea is not so bad but has been done to death, and enough with all the stupid parallels, especially those different backs.

I love minis. It's a shame that Topps removed them from their main set. I liked the retro designs. One of my recent pick ups is one of my favorites: A 2015 Gypsy Queen mini gold /99.
