Year: 2015-16

Set: Upper Deck - UD Exclusives (Rate)

Card: #199 Filip Forsberg / Duncan Keith

“ Nothing good about this card. ” -davidhandberry

“ I love checklists. I'm glad UD still does them. And a serial numbered parallel to boot, making it even better in my book. The UD Exclusives parallel is the longest running parallel in the history of the hobby, I believe. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Keith is one of the best defenseman around and Forsberg is a pretty good winger too. This is a nice a checklist card & being numbered out of a 100 makes it a little rarer as a serial numbered card should be . ” -uncaian

“ Checklists are always a love/hate thing. I'm gonna split the difference and be indifferent. But hey, my first RCOTD selection :) ” -Lennoxmatt

“ Despite having two players on today's RCOD, I don't have much to say about either Forsberg or Keith. I heard some chatter recently that Duncan Keith's contract is way out of line with his performance, meaning he's an untradeable "anchor". Apparently his deal is not as bad as Milan Lucic or Bobby Ryan's, but in a salary cap league, one bad contract can really hurt a team. Aside: I enjoy seeing players depicted on checklist cards. ” -dilemma19

“ Going to see the Blackhawks play tonight (the night when this card was available for comments on 3/29). ” -carthage44

“ SN 12/100 of a checklist. The cards subject is hockey. Hockey is fast. ” -parsley24

“ Don't know much about these guys. One is Swedish the other Canadian the card is mainly the first checklist for series one of this card set. I prefer old fashioned checklists were both sides were checklists mostly so you knew you had a checklist. Not sure what makes these exclusive variants "exclusive". ” -captkirk42

“ Not sure what comment on the subject means? A serial numbered checklist would normally be weird, but the ED Checklists are cool cause the players are on them. If by subject we mean the players, this looks like a simultaneous split frame. Duncan Keith looks like he is maniacally ready to shoot the puck at Filip Forsberg and Forsberg recognizes it and is frozen in fear. ” -muskie027

“ I read an article today about how hockey fans tend to be fans of a hockey *team*, but not necessarily *hockey* fans and I think it summed up me pretty well. I'm consider myself a pretty big Preds fan and I bought my boy a Forsberg jersey because he's one of my favorites That being said I couldn't pick Duncan Keith out of a lineup if I had to and I'm assuming he's of the same caliber player if they're appearing on this sort of card together. ” -OCHawkeye

No need for players on the checklists.   Just give me names and tiny white boxes.

Likely the fact of being a numbered card would provide another reason to collect checklist cards in the first place.
