Year: 1990
Set: Fleer (Rate)
Card: #347 Marquis Grissom
“ Have fond memories of this set. Got a box of it for really cheap a couple of years ago. Opened it with my 4 year old daughter who started getting very upset as we kept going. After about 10 packs she started complaining that we hadn't pulled any Diamondbacks cards. Had to explain to her that we wouldn't and then had to go get a box of new cards to open together. ” -tcarter

“ 1990 Fleer. Like the barebones of it. Even though it is part of the super overproduced years. ” -captkirk42

“ Pretty standard. Has everything you'd want from a card. ” -Onemorepoint

“ I just noticed when looking at this card on the Card of the Day page that the red part of the logo is an E. I'm not a baseball guy but I've seen that logo dozens if not hundreds of times and never noticed. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ when I was a kid, I thought it was weird that the Expos logo featured a red white and blue "jb" in script ” -abide
“ I like 1990 Fleer. But I hate the cardboard they used. The cards stick together. Not in a "sticky" way, but more like the pages of a book. ” -switzr1
“ There's nothing exceptional about this card . . . but it's everything a baseball card should be . . . The front is clean and well laid-out, and the back provides complete stats and other trivia . . . Collectors nowadays might see it as boring, but to me it is SOLID . . . a very nice card, of a very decent player . . . ” -georgecf

“ 1990, when OBP, SLG and K/BB were advanced statistics ” -IfbBirdsCards
“ This was a fun set to collect back in the day. Nothing overly special about it now other than a few memories. Overall, I still like it. ” -muskie027

“ Love the Junk Wax era cards. Can't help myself. Typical card of that era and I love it.. ” -Camstone
“ I like this Card. One day I have got to get around to entering my Fleer and Donruss. I love everything from this era and back. Although I have heard of the Variations involved. ” -ToppsrBest
“ As an Expos fan, I'm happy to see this card of a player I enjoyed seeing in play at the Olympic Stadium back in the days. I also still do like the simplistic design of cards from those years, and the color coordination is perfect for the Expos cards.
And for those who wonder, the logo is constructed using the same three colors of the Montreal Canadiens, blending a red "e" for Expos, a blue "b" for Baseball, and a overall "M" shape for Montreal. ;-)
