I may have asked something along these lines before, but I am curious to hear what the thoughts are about 9 pocket toploading portfolios from people who use pages. I only use boxes, but sometimes it would be nice to have a small collection to look through in pages. In the past, I have always liked the 9 pocket toploading portfolios that have the pages welded into the spine with the stiff cover usually wrapped in some sort of vinyl. It doesn't really seem that these are available much these days. The portfolios I see now are all sideloading pages with black fabric in the back of the pocket and the covers are pretty flexble and have an elastic band type closure.
I used to like these types of portfolios becase you don't have to worry about ring damage or the cover shifting when grabbing or putting it on a shelf like D ring binders. I also think they look pretty sharp and neat when looking through them.
Does anyone still use these, or are there reasons that you dislike them?
