I just want to mention one thing. We all know that communication is the key in making trades and so on, but I always use PM's, NOT a transaction message. Things get jumbled in the trans-mess sometimes, so I start a PM with the potential trader. I usually reply to the PM saying that I got a Transaction Proposal, so that the Prop# is in the thread of PM's. I rarely use the Transaction Message box for anything besides sending the tracking number for the package. I won't trade with someone if they can't reply to me in the PM's.
An extra bonus to that approach, you can make friends that you talk to almost daily and sometimes get to meet in-person. There are several members here that I consider personal friends through our conversations on this site that all started with a single trade proposal. Some I have met face-to-face and some I haven't, but they are all still friends to me. There are some friends where we are still trying to arrange meetings after the pandemic screwed up lots of plans for lots of people. I don't need to be friends with someone to trade with them, but it helps. I just need to know that the proposer knows how things work here and that they really are a collector. I really hate seeing a blank profile page when someone wants to communicate with me. I WILL NOT trade with that person UNLESS they communicate with me in PM's. Everything else has been said before my reply to this thread.
