Yes, I don't think the Topps could afford to pay for the use of the trademarked name "Tiffany". And that is pre-supposing that Tiffany Inc, would even want them to have it.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

The 1,000 yard cards were not random inserts in wax. They were 1 per pack in either jumbos, or rack-packs, not sure which but do recall buying a bunch back then trying to complete the set.

Woops, my bad. Must be another year I'm thinking of. Too many cards, too many sets, too many years passed. Could've sworn it was that way with that ugly yellow set.

So csn admin remove the 1990 topps 1000 yard club tiffany cards from the database since these were in regular card packs and not included in the factory set?

Only if someone fills out an inaccuracy report on that set's page.

Report filed. Link was on the left side of the checklist page.

I finally had a chance to compare the ones in my collection.
all were glossy as stated above
some with disclaimer back, some without.
I bet the ones in tiffany factory sets were disclaimer backs with * or **, but the only way to know for sure is to have someone that has opened a sealed factory set of them
I put in request to delete this one as well, sorry for the duplication.
