Could tell by the large letter on the backs. I saw that others were alreadty in. When I finally sweep through the STar Co stuff, I may rename them. In the meantime, you can add these to your collection (and add the scans!).

Funny that I just NOW saw this thread! I JUST added the 1992 Star Ryne Sandberg set to the DB about a half hour ago. The set I added is also the thick super-glossy cards. I was going to PM you (Dan) to see if I did this right. Looking at the Bo Jackson link above, it matches what I did. I guess I don't need to send that PM now.

You're welcome. I know how to add CL's but it really helped in this case that the card I had was the CL card. Instead of looking up one and deciding how it should be listed, the card told me what I needed to know. After I saw some that have Note2 info in the name, I was really glad I wasn't one who also did that. I do think the info should be there for the cards, but not in the name.

Yep, Admin and I have had some discussion about the formatting of the Star Co sets, and we agreed that the subtitles belong somewhere in the database, but not in the name. Since Star numbered all their cards (except the promos, ad cards, & prototypes), card identification by player name and card number is pretty simple. If the sets were designed such that no numbers were on them, then the use of the subtitles would be needed as identification. But if you have card #7 of this Sandberg set, it's not an absolute necessity to know it's "Career Highlights 1".
