Some of my most prized and sought after are the Morrell Meats and Bell Brand Dodgers cards of the late 50's and early 60's. Even beat to heck, they're hard to come by at a decent price.

I feel like today's hoarding society would kind of ruin it. I used to love picking out a different Drake's snack each week to get the whole set. Today some jabroni would definitely go to my local market and buy them all out before it hit the shelf. But definitely a great era and a cheap way to potentially get a kid into the hobby. I used to love the mini box sets too like KMart. 

A local bread company (Aunt Millie's) did a Cubs set in 2013. One plastic wrapped card in each loaf of bread. I don't know how many loaves I bought where the card was gone. I fed all the bread to the birds because obviously someone was opening them and taking the cards out and then returning them to the shelves. Gross.
