I didn't get an email until about 3 hours ago. I found out about it the other day from a deals web site that I check daily.

Got it! I was bugged by not getting anywhere with an offer on a card listed for $34, but I'll pay that all day for $25 off!

Now I have the message - I didn't have the message when I used it however. That's funny.
Oh and I've been signed up on ebay since July 4, 1998.

I'm a "HAPPY25" old-timer as well. Just got my code offer today. I joined ebay in November of 1998.
According to the message, my first ebay purchase was a "Boracio Estrada rookie baseball autograph" in January of 2002. It must have been the Horatio Estrada "Boys of Summer" insert AU from 2001 Royal Rookies Throwbacks. They used a fancy lower-case text for player names, which made the "h" look like a "b". Probably got a good deal on it, considering the seller wasn't too observant.

In the early days, typos were rampant. And I used to search based on the common ones for the players I was looking for and scored big time on several items because no one else found them. :)
