I have completed my 200th trade this week, 3 to same person too. only one that I didn't get cards from was a member that lost everything in a house fire. I google his address and the fire showed up in a local papers website saying the house was a total lost, but no loss of life.
I don't think he burnt down his house to cheat me and others out of cards.

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

As a long time trader on multpile sites, I actually like the less than 20 trades must send first rule. I've made close to 2000 trades on other sites, but none here so far. Unless someone knows me from another sites, I would expect to send first. In reply to SCF Temple, it is indeed frustrating to investigate before trading, but unfotunately it is all part of protecting yourself. I have been burnt 3 times over the course of a dozen years of trading, so even after doing due diligence it still happens. For the most part we are all here to trade, but if something doesn't feel right, listen to your gut.

Al ot of good direction to follow, thank you. As of today, still no login from that particular ID. Maybe one of the members can recognize his address and attach it to any other ID(s):

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

It does put thing into perspective. I'm glad you made it an issue though. Had you not, we all probably would have missed the passing of one of our members. Even here in this small corner of the digital world, those who pass-on are missed. I appreciate the chance to recognize Steven.
Chuck, thank's for the doing the research!

Wow. Reality sets in quickly when you read something like this. Thanks Chuck.
Wonder if he had family and if a card of condolences could be sent to his address from his card collcting friends at TCDB?

As far as getting ripped off with over 20 years of trading it has happen a few time. One reason may be that I nornally dealwith cheap cards.
I'm always willing to sent 1st. I have only a few trades here but you can check out others sites AS I always use the same ID (budler) my last name. I'm old school and see no reason to use names other then my real one.
The hobby is getting frustrating. I have been told here that my want list is tough. Yes I do believe he is correct. Some one should have a few of them as my want list shows 16,000 + cards. For some reason I'm having problem find more then 1 or 2 cards of my Huskers here and other sites. Then the shipping is more then the cards are worth. (even PWE).
