Just bought my first and only pack of Heritage today at Target today, the 26th.. Again, they are usually two days ahead of release date. Scanned in the wrapper and will leave the cards to everyone else.

I like these cards as I stopped collecting two years (1967) before so the layout is all new to me. Btw, there is no checklist posted as yet though oddly, all the subsets have checklists. Btw, I am in south central NJ if you are looking for which Target.

I'm lucky to see Topps base at my local Wally Worlds (not that I'm all that interested in base anymore). I checked today and no Heritage yet.

I have always been partial to the minor league set. Finally pulled the trigger on a box last year and planning on doing it again. Other than the O’s team set, Heritage is the only new cards sold at OPACY. Is this the case anywhere else?

Last year I really struggled to not buy the Heritage as I don’t need to go down a rabbit hole of another set I want to collect. At first I always thought these were sacreligious and that the players should only be memorialized in the designs from their own years. The classic designs were special because they were reserved for the classic players. Each year, the cards look so nice I get closer and closer to collecting buying. Not sure if this will be the year, but again, I have the itch to pull the trigger.

I've been much luckier with the collation so far.
218 base cards
8 base SPs
26 dupes
12 inserts
3 chrome inserts
12% dupes isn't great, but its better than I've gotten in past years with Topps. Now if I could just trade the dupes and inserts for the rest of the set, I wouldn't have to ruin my percentages by buying more....
