Thank you everyone for welcoming me.  The username is not a south park reference at all.  Its just a nickname that i always had, but i do like South Park very much its a great show.

I got started right around New Year’s Eve and with close to 60,000 cards it’s a job, but a fun one. My PC is inoperable and I think by July I’ll have another computer of some type and then I can scan images and contribute more to the site  than I have with just the errors I’ve found. My main goal is to get the cards that are listed on the site from both my collection and for sale/trade matched with their condition in all cases. I can’t believe I'm getting doubles of short prints for my baseball cards. Perhaps this is partly due to lack of competition as the city I live in is a hockey town. Very few baseball collectors and those that do collect are in it just for the big rookies.

Just wanted to chime in as well - I've been using this site for almost two months now, and I've really enjoyed my time here.  Lots of good feedback on the forums about how to best package trades and such, and folks seem to be genuinely welcoming. First trade went through without a hitch; another is going in the mail tomorrow.  I even reported a few missing oddball sets that I didn't see in the database and within a few days - boom, they were added!  The only downside is that I'm spending more time on here that I probably ought to...

I have been adding the card I have for trade right now and doing some trading as the offers come across. and been trying to help the site by providing scans of the cards I have about 100 or so scans waiting to be approved I think I have it down now but if I am doing it wrong I hope someone would send me a PM so I can get better at it

I have been on here since 2009 and it truly is the best card site on the internet.  Right now I am reorganizing my collection and hopefully this summer I can start adding cards to my trading list.  So stay tuned!

As well, I wonder if that is what this site does to all of us, cause us to reorganize our collections, for the better or worse?

In my case sandyrusty it is deffo for the better.

So is mine.  I just find it (almost) funny how often we read here that someone is reorganizing.  All I can recommend to those who haven't started is to put some thought into it and not only reorganize it on the database but also in your home where you keep everything.
