Also remember to follow the steps in order through to completion. Including Feedback.

If the transaction is marked complete, you actually can go and mark it as package received and hit update. The, re-mark the transaction complete. This has worked for me many times on trades accidentally "completed" too soon.

Let's BUMP this.
 Very Important for the Transaction Manager to work properly
Would some member Please Post the correct order once again for members to see, especially new members to the site. BTW, since the order is very importand is it mentioned somewhere?, Maybe the FAQ?
Emoji question, Does anybody use these?   or .? Maybe they could be replaced with useful ones?

Proper order:
Propose
Accept
Package Sent/Payment Sent
Payment Received/Package Received
Transaction Completed
On a side note, anyone who wishes to see something added to the FAQ should either write up what they would like to see in the FAQ (or get another member who knows the process desired to create the write up) and submit it to Admin. Admin has a billion things to do on this site as it is, writing up documentation is low on the the priority list (notice all the New Features that have been put into place recently, that'a where the effort seems to have been going).

I had a transaction that I wanted to kill without listing it as received or completed. The cards were lost in shipping, and I came to a satisfactory conclusion with my trade partner, but I didn't want to automatically add the cards to my collection. I had no other choice but complete the transaction, then manually remove the cards back out of my collection. A way to finish the transaction without having the cards transfer would've been nice here.
