Question on 1993-94 Topps Gold basketball

I was going over some of these cards and noticed on #12 Gugliotta Gold, a card which I put out there, that the word Topps is in gold. But unlike most or all of the cards from that set, it does not say "Topps Gold" and uses a different "gold" font. Is this a UER or am I way off base?
