I attend one work function and I miss all this.
A little history - since some of you are newer than the feature.
PIDs used to only be able to have 1 college listed (some people would get around it by entering a "new" college as "UCLA; USC; UNLV"). Admin made a coding adjustment to allow multiple colleges (this to allow all colleges to be listed and be searchable and reportable).
I mention this because Community Colleges were brought up. Many PIDs were created and info populated during the "1 college" days. I know others did this, as well as me, we listed the final college as the "1 college". We couldn't do anything better at the time.
Now, we can list multiple colleges. The Community Colleges deserve to be there. Remember also, PIDs are for all people, not just sports players. So, if & when I finally get a card, I would be able to list my 4 colleges I attended. If a person attended the college, it should be listed. Honorary degrees should not count as the person never attended there. I think we (my final school) presented our guest speaker (Tom Brokaw) with an honorary degree. I'm sure he has done MANY commencement addresses, and has received many honorary degrees from doing so. Unless he took classes at FAU, he shouldn't get that listed.
