Here is my first tutorial on sending a PWE (Plain white envelope trade). Comments and suggestions are welcomed. I just want to make it as simple as possible for new members. I will be adding different methods of sending a PWE, in the future.

Ignore the rest of the site. It hasn't been updated in quite a while.

Nice. One comment. You state "If the envelope you are sending is less than an ounce, which it normally is, the cost will be less than $1.75." An envelope less than an ounce is 50¢ plus the non-machinable surcharge of 21¢ for a total of 71¢. Did you mean to say 75¢ instead of $1.75?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I do have to fix that! I was thinking of the photo mailer that someone recently sent me, which was $1.63. I should have titled the post "Non-package" mailing tutorials. I want to include different kinds of flat mailers and the rough prices (US) on the same page. Thanks for pointing that out!
Have some editing to do....

I see you added the 9-pocket pages in an envelope method. I've received and sent using the 9-pocket pages. I've never sent or received cut pages, though. They are just accordion-folded. Undamaged, the receiver can still reuse the pages if they wish.

There a couple of small post offices clecks I would love to show them that. They say there no such thing. All the mail goes thru the machine now.
My neice works on the sorting machine and she hates when it jams. She has to stop and wait until someones un-jams it . She is not allowed
Had to edit this as I am a touch typist

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

I wanted to add this important thing.
Put an address inside the envelope. I put it inside the card holder and show it because if envelope come separated from card(s) the Post Office will STILL attempt to deliver the card. I also write address on outside of the cereal box pasteboard protector
I hate to have my cards I mail you end up in Atlanta dead parcel office and end up being sold off because it could not be delivered.
And also use zip +4 as when it goes to local distribution office, (mine is over 20 miles away) they now sort it for carrier and deliver to your post office in AM. My neice works this machine and if they get one, some workers throw it in so it can be sorted by carrier's route. Yes when your carrier shows up in AM their mail is all sorted for them, not like when our grandparents grew up and the mail was sorted on a train.
She also said all that is needed now is Name zip +4 and a carrier that know his route, and they should be able to deliver it. The machine doea the rest. Street address on envelope confirms the +4 stop for the carrier.
