That would work in the same way any subsription works. one login and password, mutliple people using it. It's not quite the same as buying the magazine and passing it on when you're done with it. Whoevers credit card is on file would really need to trust the other users. It's not really the "right thing" to do since they are selling the online price guide service, but it could be done.

Exactly what Scott says. All 4 people would have to be using the same UserID. That means they are only using it to see values. They aren't able to use the Organize or Trade feature that way without talking to each other constantly though. Cards would be all mixed up b/t those people if they tried adding any of their cards on that ID. They couldn't use that info on one account to make trades on another account without paying for an ORG on their own account and that's $40/year. The ORG and Trade features are the main reason that I pay for the OPG.

One more thing, Beckett could technically ban all four of them and at a minimum one of them. Beckett tracks IP addresses to make sure someone isn't creating multiple accounts. If they are still as active in doing that as they used to be (doubtful), they could easily ban everyone using that account and would link it into their actual personal accounts too.

Well.....I thought it was a great idea too. Almost sent out a post to "trusty" TCDB members, if they were interested.
AND THEN I read veteran Becketeer spazs' comments.....I see the issues that might ensue.
Thanks spaz. , ~BOB~

Looks like PWCC just announced a free database that allows you to search back 10? Years I think of EBay sold items. Sports Collector Daily has an article about it if you are interested in checking it out.

You're welcome. I don't want to see anyone get in trouble for cheating Beckett, even though I like the idea of cheating them.
