  While reorganizing my Reds collection, I found several sets issued by the Disabled American Veterans. Some are the minor league affiliates, mostly Louisville Bats and one from the Carolina Mudacts. These I can find in the database. However the Major league Reds sets are numbered as limited edition and not found (so far) in the database. Does anyone have any info on these sets? They were issued between 2002 and 2011 as far as I can tell.

Some minor and major league teams distributed DAV card sets at the ballpark as part of the DAV Day at the Ballpark program.  I believe the DAV Day at the Ballpark program started in 2002 and is still ongoing.  Since it was up to each team if they wanted to produced and hand-out sets on DAV Day, there's really no good source for checklists for all the sets produced over the years.  If you had a sealed set, then you could open it and create an accuracte/complete checklist.

The minor league sets are easier to identify, but harder to find. The major league sets were either 1 per set or 4. I have the 2006 Reds set both open and sealed. The set is numbered 6 to 9. I am only missing the Reds 2008 set and the Louisville Bats sets from 2008 and 2011. But that is the fun of collecting, the search itself, the elusive cards one needs to finish the sets.

  Could someone post a scan of one of these?   Just curious as to what they look like.
