Yes, I saw all the different possibilities.   I would go with baseball almanac, though no harm in using Gerry since his name is Gerard.     Baseball Almanac actually misspelled his birthname as "Gerad" so I emailed them telling them to correct it.   I think he needed a nickname.

He has so few cards, it doesn't make much difference.  It just gets me wondering what name he actually went by.  I would tend to believe mlb.com since they derive most of their info from Major League Baseball records.  Of course the only true answer would be from Mr. Janeski himself.
