I have not yet had the chance to boast a bit on here (aka thank my wife) about my big purchase last month. I won big with some buddies and took first place in my NHL fantasy draft, in doing so took home a cool 500 bucks for my "efforts" (thank you Jamie Benn! lol). The wife told me that I should for once have fun with my money and let me invest in some long overdue hobby boxes, like ten years overdue, and blaster packs at Christmas dont count!! I scoured the internet finding the best deals I could on what I wanted and made out with a haul of 11 boxes, I know that is intense but the last time I won money I used it to buy a chainsaw, nice but not for fun! I bought some old stuff from 1997-98 and then pretty much OPC and Score "low end" stuff. Plus two boxes of 13-14 Prizm (man those cards are sweet looking) If and when I can I will upload some pics of my haul and tell you how I made out overall but the point to all of this is my very last hobby box I opened was pretty cool. It was a 2013-14 OPC hobby box and two cards I pulled I am interetsed on a bit of input if possible. First was a Black Rainbow foil of PK Subban, it is a serial numbered parallel set and mine is #001 / 100 !! Never done that ..... ever. My question is this, does that increase the value since it was the first of the bunch or does it really matter? The other one is this, OPC released a Glossy insert set of 60 cards, it is a very simple design and by the sounds of it very rare and difficult to obtain, somewhere around 1:960 odds. I got the Nazem Kadri card and I can not find much info about values, eBay has a few listed, a few VERY expensive ones and one fairly cheap. I did the rounds a bit and even googled it with not a ton of luck, anybody know any more about this set and if so is it possibly a good pull? Thanks for reading and for once I actually feel like I may have gotten my money back!! LOL
