This set is listed in the database as a Star 1990, Silver 1 of 200,000 set and the cards are numbered 100 - 108 and a 9th listed under 1989 as 200. I have a set that is not listed as silver that goes from 1 - 11 cards, the pics and info on each card are the same except for the missing two cards, the card numbers, and the Silver Set tittle. My question is do I input the set I have under a different name or let the admin handle it? I only ask this because I have yet to input a new set and want to exhaust all avenues before I do so. Any and all help is appreciate.

Is the 11-card Ben McDonald set you have Orange-bordered?

Yes it is Dan. The cards already listed as the silver set except for the "89" card are almost identical, except for the few minor differences I already noted.

You have the "regular" set, which is different from the Silver series set. I was putting in all the Star Company Stuff, but several other projects have derailed me. I don't remember which year this set was released, but it should say on the card a copyright date - we were very accurate with those, plus, one of the cards should show stats up to a particular year - generally, the sets were issued the following year. This would belong under "xxxx Star Ben McDonald" (where xxx is the proper year). It does not belong to the Silver set.

That's where my problem comes into play, I don't have the silver set. But my set was made in 1990, the same year as the silver set. I've checked 1989-1991 and have not been able to locate any set other then the silver set which is a couple cards smaller then my set. I'm just finally getting my scanner online and just need to figure out how to use it. If you like once I figure the scanner out I can send you a copy of my set, since you were involved in placing the silver set in the database.

Somewhere, in my collection, I have this set. And the Promo. And if there was an Ad card, I have that too. :) (I just don't remember an Ad Card being made for Big Ben.)
