I like to scan die cuts with a black background- on my Epson scanners I just leave the lids up. With the Canon scanner I have to use a sheet of black construction paper, or just scan with a white background. Clear cards should always be scanned on white...they will look pretty nasty otherwise, I think. Try one on a dark background, you'll see :)
Just keep in mind, sometimes a card just won't be able to scan as cool as it looks in person...some cards have to be seen in hand to be truly appreciated!
VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
