I've had cards on COMC since 2008, so I've used the site from their early rise, through the debacle with Beckett in 2014 that resulted in their having to rebuild their entire catalog, to the present. Here is my store:

I don't send in a lot because I want my sales and COMC Challenges to cover all my expenses. In the last 7 years, I've submitted 1137 cards and sold 697 (there are maybe a handful of flips in there that I didn't actually send in) and purchased 465 cards. Total sales, so far, $818.78. That money has been used almost entirely to fund submissions and purchases from the site. I've only ever cashed out once for maybe $30 because I just needed the cash for something else.
I've never used any of their high end services and never had a card listed for more than $20, so I'm relatively small time. Most of what I've sent in is oddball, minor league or foreign cards. While COMC has become a tad less engaged with its customer base, provided some questionable customer support, and generally seemed to forget what brought them to the dance, I still use it and still plan to send in more cards once my credit has replenished.
Since they instituted the COMC Challenges to help build their catalog, I've accumulated 384,745 points, which equates to about $384 in store credit over the last two years. So, aside from what it costs me to ship cards to COMC, everything else has been free, not counting all the time I spend on the Challenges.
