Trivia set: I have gone through and removed links from many of these names. Spent a considerable amount of time on it. There are two possibilities with this set. 1. Somebody else is going back and re-linking them. 2. As new PIDs are created for non-sports people, the site goes through, finds these cards, and links them like it would any other card, under the assumption that it really is a card of Elvis Presley or whoever. In other words, last time I went through and removed all the links, perhaps Woody Allen didn't exist as a name in the site. Later on, somebody with a Woody Allen card created a page for Woody Allen. In doing so, the site searched for any other card named Woody Allen and grabbed those too, including his Topps Trivia card. This is the more likely scenario in my opinion. Even though I have done a lot of work on that set, I can't really say whether or not I have had to un-link the same name more than once. It might be different ones every time.
In my mind, the solution to this is to rename the individual cards. If that Woody Allen card were renamed, perhaps as "Question 1-2" rather than "Woody Allen", it would solve everything. I've just never gone and done that on my own because I didn't feel it was my place without somebody else approving it. And it would take FOREVER because there are 132 of them. And I have never even seen one of these actual cards in my life, let alone owned one. Truthfully, I don't even feel they belong on here anymore than a box of Trivial Pursuit questions or a stack of Monopoly property cards would.
I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
