I was going to update the 2015 Panini Crown Royale set but noticed some discrepancies in the card numbers. Looking on Panini's website I see all cards are numbered numerically. However, many of the inserts are lettered in reality. For instance, using a specific card. Ahman Green Crowning Achievement is listed as CA-CG in reality (from an ebay photo). The Panini checklist lists this card as 2. Does anyone out there know of a site that has the proper card numbers for Panini football cards. Note: I have seen this in other Panini football sets also.
If Panini is going to have the license for all football cards in 2016 they need to get it together and put out valid checklists.

typically you won't find any site with all the proper numbers like you're saying. the MFR says they will update thier sites, but rarely do- what i've done is as you seen on some of the Immaculate checklist is,.. i'll surf different sites like COMC, EBay for each card and include that number on my excel sheet, then upload that. yes, its time consuming. Or- you can upload the CL as it is numbered 1 through xxx and over time or others too can update the card numbers as they come across them.

forgot to mention as we have been discussing this on previous forums-- the card number is suppose to match that as to what is on the card. its not that the sequential numbering is techinically wrong, its just not updated to reflect the actual card number. hope that helps

I don't want to make extra work for others as it sometimes takes longer to fix the errors than to load them correctly the first time

Some card companies create the checklists with "placehoder numbers" and upload them to their sites before they actually create the cards and finalize the numbering system. And once a numbering system is decided and cards printed they don't always go back and update the site's checklists.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Every manufacturer has screwed this up for the past decade or so. Unless they actually include checklist cards in the set or a checklist booklet in each box, it's usually wrong in the end. I really wish letters for a card number (at least those based on a players name) would end and the companies would just put a number on it. They've showed before that numbers don't have to be continuous if a certain AU card doesn't come back to them. I am tired of seeing the same person with different Letter-numbers in those types of sets. Example #1: Jonathan Stewart is sometimes 'number' JS but also sometimes 'number' ST. Example #2 is the huge amount of athletes named Steve Smith. I don't think I need to explain that but I know there are two of each in the NFL and NBA. I'm sure there are more than the four that I know of and many of these 4 played at the same time at some point.
