So I have decided to sell my collection due to some medical issues and going on disability. I am not seperating anything out and have it listed in FB marketplace. Anyway, the main question of Something wrong with me is because even though I am trying to sell, I keep buying and adding to the collection. I love collecting and wil miss it, but sometime life just gets in the way. Anyway, is it crazy that I keep adding to it?

Definitely not crazy. I imagine it's tough to turn that collecting desire off. I'd like to think that, although you are selling your main collection, that doesn't mean you can't dabble with something small to not completely go cold turkey on the impulse. Maybe after your main collection sells you can consider your options about your now smaller collection.
It's not quite the same, but if you don't spend money on it, maybe Topps Bunt might satisfy that collection itch. Trading, completing sets, getting awards... it's not a bad way to tide one over. Spending money on it would defeat the purpose in your case, I imagine.

If you are looking to sell, I'd potentially be interested in some (or maybe all?) of your vintage baseball.

I have never heard of Topps Bunt. Is that the new onling collecting? If so, I haven't even looked into. Thanks for the idea.

I am not planning on parting it out. I would rather make a little less money and have it all gone. I have had several people contact me about parting it out. But I don't want to be stuck with just the commons. Of course if someone paid my asking price or just a little lower for the good stuff, I could always get rid of the commons somehow. Plus, I have a ton more cards than listed here. I would like to have all my cards listed but it just takes so much time to do it. I probably have close to 100k cards.

No, nothing wrong. I think it's something in all of us. I'm not supposed to be spending money this month so I can pay for repairs to my ex's house. Yet here I am picking things up anyways...
From one who's sold an entire collection before tho, myrke gave some advice. I sold my collection off in 2001, which I regret (man, those Brady's I sold away for pennies on the dollar....). Anyhow a few years later I started picking up a few packs here and there and just stashed the cards in a shoebox (no joke, legit shoebox!). I did that for about 10 years. After I got divorced I was back in the hobby full swing. And for those that were wondering, I had stopped collecting before I had met the ex so she didn't stop me. I could never really not stop the itch; you never know what is going to happen.
-------------------------------
Tired and trembling I am descending, will I have to stay here and live this life again?

I'm one that has swings of full collecting then not looking at my cards for months. During my off times the itch is there when I see cards. So I go to other stores to not see the cards.

I wouldn't be selling them if I was still working. Disability isn't enough to maintain the hobby for me. Plus I always have the itch and look at some of cards daily. I really enjoy it as I find it very relaxing. Even when I was working I would talk to customers about cards. It's been a fun hobby and I have met some great people along the way.

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues! I've tried to find your listing on FB marketplace, but can't. Can you direct me to it?

Thank you. Here is a link to my ad: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/474187997001603
I have a bunch of cards I haven't even gone through out in the garage. If you need to see something or have questions feel free to ask. Oh, these are for pick up only. It's just way to much to ship.
