I have several books with all the cards broken down by team years for each team that I follow. I also have a book that has all the autographed cards. My question should I include the signed cards with the non-signed cards or keep them separate. I do have a accurate inventory of everything I have signed. Just curious what everyone thinks?

I'm not an autograph or memorabilia collector. But, the few autograph and memorabilia cards I have are kept separate.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I have a separate book for autos & relic cards. I even go so far as to separate those further by serial numbering. Single digit numbers, then double digit, then triple, then all larger numbers, and finally unnumbered. And I mean the total number (SN99 or whatever), not the unique number on my card. I don't own any 1/1 cards, or they would be in the very front by themselves.
That's the fun thing about collecting cards. There is no right answer to your question. We all do it a little differently to give us the maximum enjoyment from our collections!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

My sets binders have autograph cards integrated into them if that card is the best condition card.

I keep mine seperate mostly because the GU cards are thick and harder to keep in a binder.
I would say the majority of my GU and Auto cards are in moster boxes.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

I have been treating auto cards as a seperate set in my binders. There is always a chance I will run into another card in the auto set at some point in my collecting life.
