Commenting on ur eBay feedback. I recently sold my first card on eBay and another member here did as well and posed a question about shipping labels which turned into a learning experience for me. Long story short I hand wrote the envelope put the appropriate postage on it and dropped it in the mail. Now I was lucky the buyer left me feedback (although the strangest feedback I've seen. A positive but the only text was a simple period. (.) a dot in today's terms lol. However had he not left feedback the only way I would know he received his package would be for me to reach out to him to ask or him reach out to say where's my card? Again, luckily he must be an honest guy or he apparently could have gotten the card and told eBay he didn't and I guess I'd have to forfeit the profit. All this to say feedback is helpful for a multitude of reasons and to that end I'll continue to leave feedback. On another note I completed a trade here recently it didn't go as smoothly as usual and I was a bit peeved at the other trader for not communicating when they had logged on etc. I had to keep chasing the trader down. When I did get the cards there was a slight issue-nothing that upset me to the point of negative feedback so I left positive feedback and messaged the trader privately. Everything's good. Likewise I screwed up once pulled the card and put it back in the box accidentally. The trader messaged me and I corrected the issue immediately. Again all this to say that communication is key especially when we're dealing over the internet hundreds if not thousands of miles from one another.
hoping to increase the chances of receiving feedback I had some mailing labels made that I stick on the cardboard packaging of all my trades thanking the other person and requesting feedback. IDK if gets me feedback but I figure the other person might think cool idea I never thought of that.
I know this was inordinately long and hope I didn't lose whoever is reading and my point came across.
happy collecting all!
