Is there anyone on here with experience buying bulk commons? If so, what price are you willing to pay for bulk commons. I have someone near me selling 35,000 commons in football from early 90s to present. I feel his price is too high but want to see what others with experience in this pay. Do you pay half a cent a card? 10 cards for a penny? Something else? I want to get an idea on what I think these should be bought for?

Also if it looks like all "junk wax" commons or bulk I usually pass. Has to at least be something that catches my eye.

The real question for you should be "Do I have room for the collection AND the time to go through the cards?". For me, buying it would depend on what percentage are early-90's cards vs. mid-90's and later. Also, are they ALL base cards (no common inserts or parallels). I would never buy a bulk collection unseen unless the price is great. My bulk buy in 2018 ended up costing about $200 but there were cards from all sports and I knew that a bunch of it was the 1st six years of NASCAR cards. I didn't get to go through the cards first, but I knew the time period and the sports included. The NASCAR cards alone were worth the price of the purchase even though the whole collection was 1980's to about 1993. Plus, it wasn't just commons, but everything the guy owned (including unopened product).
So for Mike's post, I would totally buy that one for $10. Practically no money and a ton of traders to add, plus I might find some stuff I need for my PC. I have the time to deal with it and I now have the room to store it temporarily until I could merge it with my current collection.
