I'm at the point where I've had a few matches where there are 1000 cards on someones Trade list that match my Wants. Unfortunately, when I try pulling up those matches, it stops showing cards after reaching 1000. Since the cards are in order by year, this is limiting my view to typically just the 70's and 80's. Is there any way to see beyond 1000?

On their profile there is a link on the bottom where you match their want list with your trade list or vice versa. This will list all of the sets that there is a card on the list. Just select each set to see the full list of wants/needs.

When I find people with 100+ matches, I'll start the trade and then use the selection to narrow down what I want to trade for.  Personally I like to keep trades 30 cards or less for a few reasons... it doesn't hurt as bad if they are lost in the mail and it is a lot easier to pull just a few cards.  Once you get over 30 cards it takes a while to pul them all depending on how you have them sorted.

Since the trade matching between members maxes out at 1000 lines, I've started to take advantage of the new quantity feature for duplicate cards. Any card that I have listed 10 or more times I am removing them from my trade list and then adding them back in with the quantity feature so they only take up one line.  This will help keep my trade matching reports for others under 1000 cards and like you  mentioned it will show more of the new cards rather than a bunch of bulk from 2010 Topps, etc.
