Looking to donate some base dupes to charity.
Is Signatures 4 Soldiers the only place accepting sports cards these days? Has anyone donated to them? Looks like Commons 4 Kids no longer accepts sports cards and Cards 2 Kids is defunct.
How do you all go about clearing out low value base cards?
Thanks,
Velli

Give them to a creative teacher to use. I used to encourage my teachers to use them in elementary school, but they can be used at various levels of education with an inspired teacher.

I know a lot of teachers that would give cards away as rewards for kids doing good jobs. You can reach out to your local school or library.
Another option would be to contact your towns little league. I'm sure they would be willing to take them to give out to kids.

I’ve given a lot of big boxes to bulk pickups for Veterans and in need charities.

You mentioned Signatures 4 Soldiers... I have done some work with Signatures 4 Soldiers - both getting some autographs on their behalf and as a customer purchasing things from them. I like what they do and their reach.
If they are a consideration as a recipient for your card donation, they would have my vote.

In years past I have donated to Le Bonheur children's hospital in Memphis. At the time I donated they gladly accepted them.

Appreciate all the feedback.
I've reached out to the local children's hospital to see if they take cards as donations, if not, I'll either reach out to see if any teachers want them or will ship them to Signatures 4 Soldiers.
Happy Collecting,
Velli

Before I found this site and started trading, I used to donate them to the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester MN. They were glad to accept them because it helped the children there get a little distraction from the chaos they were going through.

Been there done this. A s I make albums with cards to donate.
Kids.. Donating to kid related venues. Most kids are excited with “ Newer cards, players they know, hear of & see. I recommend those cards to kids..
the soldiers place, adults. They would be more into the older cards and of course newer players. I think more success of older cards being welcomed there.
Good luck.. thank you for sharing with others by just donating..
donn from Green Bay.. 😜🥰
