Oh very good! My son and I have been following along...he's been waiting for it to be found to perhaps get some cheaper cards now!

I'm mostly organizing over adding right now.

Last I saw box prices have fallen over 27% since it came to light, probably even more so now.
Graded at a PSA 9 if anyone hadn't seen that.

I could probably buy the already complete sets cheaper somewhere else, but I like getting my maildays.

My Precious wasn't a gem mint?

I kind of questioned whether if someone would grade it or not. That's the chance you take with a 1 of 1 card. But even with a 9 grade it will fetch a lot of coin. Wait to see if it hits an auction house or go on display at one of the big shows in the U.S. or even in Canada. Because we have no clue who has it and in what country for that matter lol!

With a US $2 million bounty, don't expect to see it publicly available.
Pulled from a hobby shop in Whitby Ontario. Not gonna lie, I had fantasies about pulling it with my son, who is an active MTG player.

How did they possibly get it graded so quickly?

Given the interest/publicity of the card, PSA expedited the process. The card holder likely contacted PSA directly with confirmation of the card, then immediately traveled to the headquarters in California soon after.

The funny/sad part is that Beckett Grading Services (BGS) offered an incentive, named "The One Treasure to Rule Them All", if the owner graded with BGS, but the owner chose PSA instead.
BGS offered the following [1]:
- Authentication, grading, and encapsulation, with a 1 of 1 label, inspired by The Lord of the Rings
- Two roundtrip airline tickets to Beckett’s headquarters in Plano, TX to submit The 1 of 1 Ring in person
- A 1 of 1 fine art print, Zion case, and playmat featuring custom artwork inspired by The Lord of the Rings and brought to life by the talented artist Titus Lunter
- A $1,000 gift card to use toward future Beckett Grading Services
- Four Collector Booster Boxes from upcoming Magic: The Gathering product releases
