I've seen instances, at least in NASCAR cards, where a driver will sign a card in blue ink and then switch to black for the rest, or vice versa. For these these cards, I've seen nearly as many of each ink version. There is no difference between each card other than the color pen used by the signer. They are not numbered.
Is this enough to constitute a variation in the database, or just some odd occurrence most people wouldn't care about?
These cards are not the same as say the 1999 Press Pass Signings of Jimmy Makar, where he signed in both black and blue inks, but have separate serial numbers.
I'm attempting to complete the 2005 Press Pass Autograph set (which the Bill Lester is a part of), so I wanted both versions I saw.
